There are two different types of remote work: fully remote and partially remote. Fully remote work, refers also to distributed teams, are where all employees work from a location of their choice, anywhere in the world. In some cases where organizations allow fully remote work, a centralized office doesn’t exist. Partially remote work refers to remote teams and applies when employees can work remotely but may be expected to be in the office regularly.
